Kent Machine Inc. is currently seeking an experienced CNC/Manual Lathe Operator.

Job Requirements/Responsibilities

Ability to set up, troubleshoot and operate CNC/Manual Lathe.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and quality specs.
• Experience with operating Mastercam Software.
• A proper understanding of feeds and speeds applied to CNC machining.
• Shop math including trigonometry with a very good mechanical aptitude.
• A good understanding of G&M codes and experience programming with IGF a plus. (Interactive Graphic Function)
• Perform in process inspection to verify measurements and specifications.
• A good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance. (GD&T)
• Should possess proper tools for the trade.
