We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor for our Injection Molding department at our facility in Elgin, IL, 60124. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient operation of our injection molding processes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department, ensuring production targets are met.
Supervise and mentor a team of machine operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with quality control teams to address any product defects and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing preferred.
3+ years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of injection molding processes and machinery.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in using computer software for production tracking and reporting.
Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
