**Job Responsibilities:
**
Responsible for aiding in the development of Master Process Plan as assigned that will allow for a consistent injection molding processes providing customers quality parts; on time within the quoted cycle time and set labor standards
Responsible as part of a team in reviewing current processes to improve cycle times and/or part quality.
Responsible for managing the proper set up of injection molds per company established procedures and aiding in training to set up technicians as necessary.
Works with Quality to properly document and maintain Master Control Plans (MCP)
Responsible for establishing molding processes to company standards
Responsible for insuring that all molding processes meet customer supplied quality requirements
Responsible for ensuring that molding processes are reflective of any First Article Parts, customer samples.
Responsible for insuring use of specified raw material as per MCP
Responsible for providing technical support to Quality for quality problems or customer complaints.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly production area
**Qualifications
**
Education:
High School Diploma
Technical 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in injection molding processing
Working knowledge of types of thermoplastics and injection molds
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
A positive can-do attitude
Understanding of injection molding
Proficient in ability to set-up and create robust molding processes
Ability to use computer and programs associated with performing job requirements
Good interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Ability to make timely fact-based decisions; shows good judgment
Proficient in the ability to read and interpret customer drawings
Ability to work independently and handle projects to completion
