Job Summary

Key Responsibilities- Grind, shape, and modify precision cutting tools for use in production equipment

• Manufacture and maintain tooling to meet performance, quality, and process requirements
• Work collaboratively with machining, production, and engineering teams to support tooling needs
• Evaluate tool performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and tool life
• Maintain tight tolerances and consistent quality standards
• Follow established processes and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized tool grinding area

Required Experience & Skills- Extensive experience in tool grinding and tool making

• Strong understanding of how cutting tools function in lathe operations
• Ability to grind and shape tools for specific applications and materials
• Experience supporting production environments across multiple departments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to consistently produce reliable, high-performing tooling

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Tooling
• Aerospace Manufacturing
• Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
• AS9100 Experience
• Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
• CNC Swiss Lathe (Star, Index, Eurotech, Ganesh)
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Index, Eurotech)
• Calipers and Micrometers
