Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Inspect and test completed tools and dies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain and repair existing tools and dies to extend their lifespan.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in tool and die making preferred.
• Proven experience as a Tool Die Maker or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
