Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and train shipping and receiving staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Develop and implement procedures to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain stock accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate with vendors and carriers to schedule shipments and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips.
• Analyze shipping and receiving metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving management or a related field.
• Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC industry a PLUS!
• Operation of a forklift
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
