Our client in Willoughby is seeking a detail-oriented
Assembly Technician
to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production role focused on assembling large racks, cabinets, and related products.
This is not a warehouse or shipping position.

Candidates must successfully pass a
Blueprint Reading & Scale Measurement Test
to be considered for employment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble large racks, cabinets, and components according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and scale measurements accurately
- Perform quality inspections on components and finished products
- Operate drill presses, countersink machines, and other production equipment
- Saw, rivet, and assemble sheet metal components as required
- Repair damaged or non-conforming products when necessary
- Complete final inspections, labeling, cleaning, and packaging of finished products
- Verify part counts and report material shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all quality and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and production processes
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must pass a Blueprint Reading & Scale Measurement Test
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
