RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a safe working environment through the adherence of established Hormel safety polices.
- Supervises and trains Team Leaders to assure the production of products/services meets daily production schedules.
- Develops short-term and long-range production plan schedules to meet the needs of sales and assures the ordering of raw materials and/or supplies required for scheduling production in his/her assigned area.
- Assures the production of products/services meets quality objectives.
- Achieves labor efficiency and utilization objectives, standard yield objectives, safety objectives, production cost objectives, and sanitation/housekeeping objectives.
- Assures HACCP and other food safety initiatives are implemented to Hormel & USDA expectations.
- Implements and supports Hormel Production System, Lean Manufacturing principles, and maturity initiatives.
- Provides vacation relief for Team Leaders and Operations Managers.
Performs project work as assigned by Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing plant supervision.
- A pattern of initiative and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving, decision making, and project management skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $86,600 - $121,200 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
