We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented O.D. Grinding Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Bensenville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision grinding machines to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate O.D. grinding machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
• Proven experience as an O.D. Grinding Machine Operator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of grinding processes and machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
