Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented O.D. Grinding Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Bensenville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision grinding machines to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

Set up and operate O.D. grinding machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using measuring instruments.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
Proven experience as an O.D. Grinding Machine Operator or similar role.
Strong understanding of grinding processes and machine operation.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Proficient in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
