Job Description

**1. Scope of the position

**

To carry out activities of mould set ups to ensure efficient production unit.

**2. Key Responsibility

**

• Effectively plan for mould changes ensuring all safety procedures are followed and mould change can be completed efficiently and effectively

• Carry out mould and automation changes: set up complete only when first piece inspection is passed.

• Continuously strive to reduce changeover times

• Fine tune machines after set ups and carry out repairs where appropriate

• Creating, updating and filing set up sheets.

• Continuously review machine efficiencies, downtime, reject levels and make efficiency improving recommendations.

**3. Key Performance Indicators

• Reduction in changeover times for moulds and automation.

• Number of efficiency-improving recommendations implemented per quarter.

**4. Decision making authority

**

Responsibility to make recommendations regarding set up improvement, machine performance and efficiency.

• Injection Molding Experience
• Blow Molding Experience
• Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience
