We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technician / Fabrication Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and collaborating with a team to design, build, and improve systems and components.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. A strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve mechanical challenges
- Assist in the design, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Stay productive during downtime by organizing, cleaning, or progressing project tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of tools (drills, bolts, hand tools, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and background check
Preferred (not required):
Experience or exposure in one or more of the following areas:
- Millwright work
- CNC machining
- Welding
- Electrical systems
- Automotive repair
- Aircraft maintenance
