What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you'll play an important role in bringing our innovative training systems to life by:
- Assembling mechanical systems, equipment, and training products from engineering specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Performing quality inspections and testing completed assemblies
- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues
- Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Maintaining safe, organized work areas
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Senior-level technicians may also help train teammates, solve complex assembly challenges, and serve as technical resources for the team.
What You Bring
Level 2
- 1+ years of mechanical assembly or related hands-on experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
Level 3
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and blueprint interpretation skills
- Ability to independently complete complex assemblies
- Proven record of quality workmanship and productivity
Level 4
- 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent expertise
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems and assembly processes
- Ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical issues
- Leadership, mentoring, or training experience
- Ability to serve as a technical resource for the team
