Job Description

Summary:

The General Labor / Material Handler (Cutter) is responsible for handling metal materials, measuring and cutting metal to the required specifications, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.

1st Shift 5am-1:30pm possible OT and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve metal bundles from storage racks.
• Measure metal materials according to work orders.
• Operate a saw to cut metal to the required length.
• Load and unload metal materials safely.
• Inspect materials before and after cutting.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a metal cutting saw.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (or more with assistance/equipment).
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, metal dust, and moving machinery.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

You should be proficient in:

• Language: Spanish
• Material Handler Experience
• Heavy Material Handling
