Production Supervisor - DIRECT HIRE
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support production employees on assigned shift.
- Assign daily work and monitor production to ensure schedules and deadlines are achieved.
- Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Train and develop team members while providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and attendance while addressing performance concerns as needed.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations, hiring, and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor inventory, materials, and equipment availability to support production needs.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance metrics.
- Participate in production meetings and communicate department goals and updates effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Business Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting.
- Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP or MRP systems is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
