Production Supervisor - DIRECT HIRE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support production employees on assigned shift.
Assign daily work and monitor production to ensure schedules and deadlines are achieved.
Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
Train and develop team members while providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Monitor productivity, quality, and attendance while addressing performance concerns as needed.
Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations, hiring, and disciplinary matters.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean Manufacturing practices.
Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime and resolve operational issues.
Monitor inventory, materials, and equipment availability to support production needs.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and performance metrics.
Participate in production meetings and communicate department goals and updates effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Associate degree in Manufacturing, Business Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting.
Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP or MRP systems is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
