The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems within a structural steel fabrication facility.

Maintenance: Continuous Improvement
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC beam processing machines, overhead cranes, hydraulic shear and press brake, double column band saw, CNC plasma table, MIG welders, handheld plasma cutters and compressors.
- Maintain shop vehicles such as F250, Telehandler 12k, Side loader 23k, and Forklifts.
- Maintain facility systems such as lighting, switches, HVAC, network lines, etc.
- Maintain the preventative maintenance log.
- Suggest improvements to the management team.
- Repair broken equipment as needed.
- Replace items no longer serviceable.
Safety & Teamwork: Safety > Speed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, welders, torches and grinders.
- Work collaboratively with CNC operators, foremen, welders, fabricators, painters and QC personnel.
