The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems within a structural steel fabrication facility.

Maintenance: Continuous Improvement

Perform preventative maintenance on CNC beam processing machines, overhead cranes, hydraulic shear and press brake, double column band saw, CNC plasma table, MIG welders, handheld plasma cutters and compressors.
Maintain shop vehicles such as F250, Telehandler 12k, Side loader 23k, and Forklifts.
Maintain facility systems such as lighting, switches, HVAC, network lines, etc.
Maintain the preventative maintenance log.
Suggest improvements to the management team.
Repair broken equipment as needed.
Replace items no longer serviceable.

Safety & Teamwork: Safety > Speed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Safely operate overhead cranes, welders, torches and grinders.
Work collaboratively with CNC operators, foremen, welders, fabricators, painters and QC personnel.
