Laser Operator – Setup & Editing

Dayton, OH | Up to $25/HR

We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating and setting up laser cutting equipment who can also make basic program edits and machine adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Load materials and adjust machine settings for production runs.
• Make basic program edits and adjustments as needed.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve routine machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Meet daily production and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC laser operating experience required.
• Hands-on laser setup experience required.
• Experience making basic program edits required.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
