Laser Operator – Setup & Editing

Dayton, OH | Up to $25/HR

We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating and setting up laser cutting equipment who can also make basic program edits and machine adjustments.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment.
Load materials and adjust machine settings for production runs.
Make basic program edits and adjustments as needed.
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve routine machine issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Meet daily production and quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous CNC laser operating experience required.
Hands-on laser setup experience required.
Experience making basic program edits required.
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Comfortable using precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
