Position Summary
The Heavy Milling Floater Operator is a cross-functional position responsible for supporting all major operations within the Heavy Milling Department, including saw operations, edge banding, panel processing, and specialty part production. This position serves as a fill-in operator for multiple workstations and equipment, ensuring uninterrupted production flow while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The role directly impacts customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Due to the physical demands of this position, proper lifting techniques, body mechanics, and safe work practices must be consistently utilized.
