DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR
Operations
&
Employee
Support
- Assist
employees
with
HR-related
questions
including
pay
rates,
payroll
discrepancies,
and
general
concerns
- Respond
to
and
help
manage
wage
garnishment
inquiries
and
documentation
- Support
employee
relations
by
escalating
issues
appropriately
and
maintaining
confidentiality
- Timekeeping
&
Payroll
Support
- Review,
audit,
and
edit
daily
time
clock
punches
(approx.
16+
employees
or
departments)
Ensure
accuracy
of
timekeeping
records
prior
to
payroll
processing
- Work
closely
with
payroll
and
supervisors
to
resolve
discrepancies
Recruiting
&
Staffing
Coordination
- Coordinate
and
schedule
interviews
with
candidates
and
hiring
managers
Communicate
staffing
needs
and
job
requisitions
to
staffing
agencies
- Act
as
liaison
between
company
and
external
staffing
vendors
- Maintain
clear
communication
with
supervisors
regarding
headcount
needs
and
updates
Onboarding
&
Compliance
- Assist
with
new
hire
onboarding,
including
document
collection
and
verification
Support
new
hire
orientations
- Ensure
all
employee
records
are
maintained
accurately
and
in
compliance
with
company
policies
and
labor
regulations
Administrative
Support
- Maintain
organized
HR
files
and
documentation
- Track
hiring
activity,
onboarding
progress
and
timekeeping
system
- Support
additional
HR
projects
as
needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required
Basic
knowledge
of
HR
principles
and
practices
- Strong
organizational
and
clerical
skills
- Excellent
communication
skills
(written
and
verbal)
- Ability
to
multitask
in
a
fast-paced
environment
- High
level
of
attention
to
detail
and
confidentiality
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s
degree
in
Human
Resources,
Business
Administration,
or
related
field
Experience
in
manufacturing,
logistics,
or
staffing
environments
is
a
plus
- Bilingual
(English/Spanish)
is
a
strong
plus
