Haul Truck Driver (Non-CDL) – Temporary Project Position

Location: The Dalles, OR

Pay: $31.05 per hour

Start Date: Week of July 6th (exact date TBD)

Project Duration: Approximately 3 weeks (may be shorter)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (subject to change)

We are currently seeking 3 Haul Truck Drivers to join our team for a short-term project in The Dalles, Oregon. This position operates large off-road haul trucks (often described as "big Tonka trucks" or Cat wagons) on an active job site. No CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate off-road haul trucks on a construction/project site

• Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions

• Conduct basic pre-shift equipment inspections

• Maintain awareness of surrounding equipment and personnel

• Complete assigned hauling tasks efficiently and safely

Requirements

• Previous heavy equipment, haul truck, construction, or related experience preferred

• Ability to work safely in an active construction environment

• Reliable transportation to and from the job site

• Ability to work the scheduled hours and adapt to schedule changes as needed

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen

PPE Requirements

• Steel-toe or sturdy work boots with good traction are required (Romeo-style boots are not permitted)

• Hard hats and safety vests will be provided
