Haul Truck Driver (Non-CDL) – Temporary Project Position

Location: The Dalles, OR

Pay: $31.05 per hour

Start Date: Week of July 6th (exact date TBD)

Project Duration: Approximately 3 weeks (may be shorter)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (subject to change)

We are currently seeking 3 Haul Truck Drivers to join our team for a short-term project in The Dalles, Oregon. This position operates large off-road haul trucks (often described as "big Tonka trucks" or Cat wagons) on an active job site. No CDL is required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate off-road haul trucks on a construction/project site
Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Conduct basic pre-shift equipment inspections
Maintain awareness of surrounding equipment and personnel
Complete assigned hauling tasks efficiently and safely

Requirements

Previous heavy equipment, haul truck, construction, or related experience preferred
Ability to work safely in an active construction environment
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Ability to work the scheduled hours and adapt to schedule changes as needed

Pre-Employment Requirements

Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen

PPE Requirements

Steel-toe or sturdy work boots with good traction are required (Romeo-style boots are not permitted)
Hard hats and safety vests will be provided
