Position Overview

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator supports manufacturing improvement initiatives by using Lean Manufacturing, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Work with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify process improvements.
  • Collect and analyze manufacturing data.
  • Create statistical process charts and reports.
  • Support Kaizen events and follow up on action items.
  • Implement process changes and new technologies.
  • Assist with problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Support time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
  • Help reduce scrap, rework, waste, and production downtime.
  • Track improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume or discrete manufacturing.
  • Experience with time studies, work measurement, line balancing, or capacity analysis.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or facility layout software.
  • Previous experience supporting Kaizen events.
