Position Overview

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator supports manufacturing improvement initiatives by using Lean Manufacturing, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
Work with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify process improvements.
Collect and analyze manufacturing data.
Create statistical process charts and reports.
Support Kaizen events and follow up on action items.
Implement process changes and new technologies.
Assist with problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Support time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
Help reduce scrap, rework, waste, and production downtime.
Track improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and safety.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
Experience with Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in high-volume or discrete manufacturing.
Experience with time studies, work measurement, line balancing, or capacity analysis.
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Familiarity with AutoCAD or facility layout software.
Previous experience supporting Kaizen events.
