Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve processes and enhance product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years experience in a productin or job ship environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with various machining tools and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
