Job Summary: (Full time – Permanent Job)

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in a direct hire role. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional who can program, set up, and operate CNC machines while maintaining tight tolerances and producing high-quality parts. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently from print to finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) using G-code or CAM software
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision components
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
  • Select tooling, set offsets, and adjust programs for optimal performance
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure part quality through in-process inspection
  • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM if applicable)
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary program or tooling adjustments
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper machine operation
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Proven experience with CNC programming (G-code and/or CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
  • Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T
  • Experience with tight tolerance machining
  • Ability to set up and run jobs independently
  • Experience with both mills and lathes preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening (including marijuana)

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Compensation:

The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
