Job Summary: (Full time – Permanent Job)

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in a direct hire role. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional who can program, set up, and operate CNC machines while maintaining tight tolerances and producing high-quality parts. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently from print to finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

Program CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) using G-code or CAM software
Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision components
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
Select tooling, set offsets, and adjust programs for optimal performance
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure part quality through in-process inspection
Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM if applicable)
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary program or tooling adjustments
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper machine operation
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5+ years of CNC machining experience
Proven experience with CNC programming (G-code and/or CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T
Experience with tight tolerance machining
Ability to set up and run jobs independently
Experience with both mills and lathes preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening (including marijuana)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Compensation:

The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
