**CDL Class B Driver

Pay:** $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Location: Sodus, Michigan

About the Position

Our staffing agency is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class B Driver for a full-time opportunity in Sodus, Michigan. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites while supporting daily operations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to various job sites and locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with equipment setup, loading, unloading, and general labor tasks as needed.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B License required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screenings.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles throughout the day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor as needed.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely load and secure materials and equipment.
