CAFRS Field Service Representative
Job Description:
- Utilizes experience with Centralized Aviation Flight Records Systems (CAFRS)
- Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, networking, and software issues
- Assists in training scenarios, software installation procedures, verification, and documentation
- Collaborate with system engineers, developers, testers, and end users to identify and resolve technical issues
- Coordinates planning, shipment of training equipment, and onsite training for CAFRS users worldwide
- Provide remote technical support to CAFRS users and accurately document and track support requests
Desired Skills:
- Foundational understanding of SQL databases and database functionality.
- Basic understanding of server/client software programs.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
Required Education & Skills:
- Extensive recent experience (within the past 3–5 years) working with the Centralized Aviation Flight Record System (CAFRS) in a Flight Operations or Standardization environment.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience; or a Ph.D. with 4 years of relevant experience.
