Accounting Assistant with International and Domestic
Location: Mira Loma, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
York Employment is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role will work closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate processing, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger updates
- Support domestic and international transactions, including currency exchange
- Track and process sales commissions/royalties
- Utilize Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems for reporting and data management
- Provide AP/AR support and prepare cash receipts/remittance documentation
- Maintain organized filing, scanning, and financial records
- Assist with e-commerce reporting, RMAs, and debit memos
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, AP/AR
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, and Outlook
- Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
