Accounting Assistant with International and Domestic

Location: Mira Loma, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

York Employment is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role will work closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate processing, reporting, and recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

Bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger updates
Support domestic and international transactions, including currency exchange
Track and process sales commissions/royalties
Utilize Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems for reporting and data management
Provide AP/AR support and prepare cash receipts/remittance documentation
Maintain organized filing, scanning, and financial records
Assist with e-commerce reporting, RMAs, and debit memos

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, AP/AR
Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, and Outlook
Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
