The Welding Supervisor is responsible for the training, safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of welding operations to support our manufacturing.

Education/Experience:

Technical degree or Welding Certificate and at least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working in a metal fabrication, complex assembly, engineered solutions and in a fast-paced environment is ideal.
Proven track record of successfully training and mentoring team members to improve welding techniques.
Strong leadership, influence, and persuasive skills with proven ability to effectively motivate, coach, and mentor.
Experience with assembly lines, use of visual replenishment signals, Kanban, and continuous flow manufacturing.
Experience reading and interpreting prints.

Essential Responsibilities:

Demonstrates use of people centric leadership to effectively motivate and coach team.
Oversee, assist, and provide training on welding various materials using Robotic, Tig and MIG welding equipment.
Assign team members to production jobs for the shift and adjust as needed to assure meeting schedule.
Assist other welders in maintaining production in accordance with company standards.
Inspect team members work to ensure that work is performed in a manner consistent with established levels of quality and quantity.
Foster and maintain an effective working relationship and environment with all team members.
Suggest, encourage input to, review and implement process improvements.
Request maintenance through work order process.
Anticipate and participate in determining hiring needs, selection and onboarding of new employees and temps as needed.

Pay Range:

60,000.00 - 90,000.00
