X-Ray Processor

Responsibilities

This X-Ray Processor position, located in Muskegon County, MI, is responsible for processing and inspecting castings per customer requirements using X-ray (wax and metal radiography) techniques. The role requires flexibility to work any shift, including 2nd, 3rd, and weekend crews, and involves working closely with the team to maintain production schedules.

Opennings on all shifts.

Job Roles

Processes and inspects castings using X-ray radiography techniques to verify compliance with customer specifications.

Reads and interprets detailed images and technical data with a high degree of focus and accuracy, often for extended periods at a workstation.

Makes sound, independent decisions when evaluating inspection results.

Works within an assigned area as a team member to help maintain production schedules.

Maintains flexibility to work any shift, including weekends, as production needs require.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Minimum of two years of work experience, or six months of continuous manufacturing experience

Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

Background in industrial manufacturing and/or quality control/nondestructive inspection

Previous experience with industrial radiography

Basic computer skills

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications

Confidence working independently and making decisions with limited oversight
