Description

Clack Corporation, a privately held company, established over 70 years ago is now hiring! We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of water treatment components and drinking water products, as well as specialized in custom blow molding products.

We are looking for a Assembly Supervisor with a strong leadership background to supervise our Water Treatment Assembly department.

Summary:    Coordinate the assembly and quality control for water treatment products.

  1. Schedule daily production based upon plant orders using LN.
  2. Perform incoming quality control inspection on selected items used in Clack East assembly area and rejects those not meeting specifications.
  3. Ensure that the quality control tests are performed on those products where procedures have been established.
  4. Provide training and instructional materials for employees.
  5. Enter daily production numbers in LN.
  6. Shut down equipment for quality, safety, or maintenance problems.
  7. Enter replenishment orders for requesting of product to be transferred.
  8. Set up of assembly operations for on-line assembly.
  9. Alert Purchasing of low inventories.
  10. Review existing assembly projects to determine areas in which production output may be improved.
  11. Gather and record daily production information.
  12. Perform tests on returned goods as appropriate.
  13. Prepare work orders.
  14. Establish and maintain quality control records.
  15. Administer company policies, practices, work rules and safety requirements.
  16. Supervise and evaluate water treatment Staff.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications


  1.     Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  2.    Strong mechanical aptitude.
  3.     Previous supervisory experience.
  4.     Strong communication and organizational skills.
  5.     Willingness and flexibility to work overtime as conditions require.
  6.     Self-starter.  Able to work independently. 
  7.     Knowledge of inspection techniques, ability to use and care for precision measuring instruments, etc.
  8.     Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  9.     Extended sitting and standing.
  10.     Good eye and hand coordination, wrist movement.
  11.     Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
  12.     Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
  13.     Proficient in the use of computers.  Word, LN.
  14.    Must wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment.
