We want to design a fully connected, AI‑driven industrial print ecosystem of people, hardware, and software—one that learns, connects, and increasingly acts autonomously, enabling seamless collaboration between brands and PSPs, augmenting people, reducing operational complexity, and turning production into a reliable, scalable system for growth and control.
The Software, Workflow and Automation Product Manager is responsible for defining the future vision and creating a roadmap to support that vision in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This person uses their in-depth understanding of the market, customers, and competition to define and execute a growth strategy for the segment. They engage with industry leaders to define and solidify new growth opportunities. This role works with customers and with the HP Go-To-Market teams to help our customers grow their businesses. They drive promotion and awareness of HP in the market at events, tradeshows, webinars, and other venues. This person defines and pitches business cases for new growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Own the workflow and automation product vision and translate it into a prioritized roadmap across teams
Define business requirements informed by customer needs, competitive analysis, and field data; drive trade-off decisions between incremental revenue, cost savings and customer experience
Partner with sales, channel, and marketing to package product capabilities into compelling offerings; develop positioning, pricing models, and customer proof points (e.g., Drupa 2028 showcase)
Lead customer discovery and validation cycles; synthesize feedback into actionable product direction
Evaluate and integrate third-party workflow, finishing, and partners into the PageWide Industrial solution ecosystem
Build businesses cases for new investments
Drive promotion and awareness of HP in the market
Support tradeshows, open houses, and customer product demonstrations
Education & Experience Recommended
College degree in Marketing / Business, MBA preferred
10+ years in product management, business strategy, or technical leadership within industrial printing, manufacturing automation, or enterprise SaaS
7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, strategy, market development or business development
Digital printing and/or analog production experience, with knowledge of whole ecosystem (media, workflow, presses, finishing)
Deep understanding of AI/ML-driven automation, autonomous systems, or Industry 4.0 concepts
Proven track record translating complex technical capabilities into market-ready value propositions
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to engage both technical operators and C-suite decision-makers
Excellent influencing, consensus building, and conflict-resolution skills

Salary
The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
