Position Overview
The Food Operations Worker II position is responsible for performing and leading hands‑on operational tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging, and shipping of grain within a small, team‑based facility. The role includes operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, power hand jacks, scissor lifts, and stretch wrappers, as well as utilizing HMI controls to support daily operations. A strong safety mindset is essential, with an expectation of continuous situational awareness, proper material placement, and maintaining safe walkways and work areas. Employees work closely within small teams, follow GMP standards, and support facility housekeeping and upkeep in a physically active environment that includes dust exposure and non‑temperature‑controlled conditions. This position is ideal for hard‑working individuals who are dependable, take pride in their work, are eager to expand their skill set, and contribute positively to a collaborative, safety‑focused operation.
