Wireformer Operator

Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc.

Katy Spring is seeking a motivated Wireformer Operator to join our manufacturing 2nd shift team. This role involves operating wireforming equipment, inspecting parts for quality, performing machine setups and adjustments, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wireforming machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load wire materials and perform machine startups and shutdowns.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and production travelers.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and optical comparators.
• Assist with tooling changes, machine setup, and preventive maintenance.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and reduce scrap.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Manufacturing, machine operation, blueprint reading, or quality inspection experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a production environment.
