We are seeking an experienced Wire EDM Programmer/Operator for a direct-hire opportunity with an established Tool & Die manufacturer in Chesterfield, MI.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Wire EDM professional who enjoys hands-on programming and machining, variety in their work, and a tool room environment rather than repetitive production.

What You'll Do

• Program, set up and operate Wire EDM machines
• Create wire burn paths from 3D models
• Establish burn parameters and machining details
• Produce precision Tool & Die components
• Perform dimensional inspection of completed work
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
• Operate manual Bridgeport mills and surface grinders while EDM equipment runs unattended

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of Wire EDM programming and setup experience
• Ability to program wire paths from 3D models
• Strong understanding of Wire EDM setup and burn parameters
• Experience with dimensional inspection and precision measuring equipment
• Tool & Die experience preferred
• Mitsubishi Wire EDM experience is a plus
• Manual machining and surface grinding experience is helpful
