We are seeking a skilled and motivated WIRE EDM OPERATOR to join our team in Sugarcreek, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process by operating Wire Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) to produce precision components. ## Responsibilities
Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience operating Wire EDM machines or similar equipment.
Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
