Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Wire Drawing Production Associate for a well-established manufacturing company in Barberton, Ohio. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that values hard work, reliability, and employee development.

Pay & Schedule

Starting Pay: $17.65/hour during training on first shift
Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hour once moved to nights
Night Shift Pay: $18.65/hour
Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential

Position Overview

As a Wire Drawing Production Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the production process that transforms raw wire materials into finished products. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor wire drawing equipment and machinery
Load raw materials and assist with production setup
Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
Measure and record production data as required
Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work as part of a team to meet production goals

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Excellent attendance and reliability
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
