Looking for a stable, hands-on manufacturing role where your mechanical skills actually matter? Want your evenings and weekends back? We are hiring a 1st Shift Winder Operator to join our fast-growing paper tube and core manufacturing team in South Carolina!

 What You’ll Do Every Day:

You won't just watch a machine run. You will be the master of our spiral tube winding lines:

  • Set Up & Adjust: Change mandrels, align winding belts, and set up target saws for custom client runs.
  • Keep Things Moving: Load master paperboard rolls and manage multi-ply tension and glue assemblies.
  • Measure for Quality: Use calipers and micrometers to make sure every tube and core hits perfect specs.
  • Stay Safe: Keep your workspace clean and look out for your teammates by following standard safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years’ operating spiral winders, slitter-rewinders, or similar web-handling/laminating machinery.
  • Precision: You know how to read a tape measure down to the 1/16th of an inch.
  • Muscle: Ability to handle heavy paper rolls and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Drive: A strong mechanical mindset and a reliable work ethic.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, with assistance if required.
