Title: Chief Operator - Initiating Explosives - Hourly
Location: East Alton, IL

Salary:  $32.51/hour
Schedule:  Straight 1st Shift

Chief Operator - Initiating Explosives Essential Job Functions:

• Mixes dry and liquid additives together through several processes to make different types of explosives and solutions.
• Uses 4-wheel cart to transport material. 
• Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.

Chief Operator - Initiating Explosives Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Related chemical experience. 
• Exposure to wet, humid, and extreme temperatures. 
• Must have flexibility to work weekends and forced overtime. 

Location-Specific Requirements: 

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. 
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
