Description

Thysse is seeking a quality minded, experienced Wide Format / Digital Press Operator who is anxious to excel in our growing company! We expect our team to continuously develop and augment their skills to the benefit of themselves, our customers and our company. As a part of our Wide Format team, you will be responsible for all the machine operations and hand-labor required for printing, finishing, cutting and packing our high-quality graphics efficiently and on time.


1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7am - 3pm


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run projects on each type of machine in the wide format department as well as any hand-labor work required for printing, finishing, cutting and packing our high-quality graphics.
  • Locate, process, and manage files on our production servers, ensuring an efficient flow through the production cycle
  • Review and confirm project data and information in our production software systems.
  • Complete work in a timely manner as defined by production schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the wide format equipment
  • Work with other departments as needed to ensure the customer’s expectations are met.
  • Recognize errors quickly and ensure completed work meets our quality standards.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High school or GED preferred.
  • 3+ years of wide format production and graphic arts experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Mechanically inclined with large, complex machinery.
  • Work experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot immediate issues.
  • The ability to produce independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer, software, and analytical aptitude.
  • Highly skilled in problem analysis and problem resolution.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
