POSITION SUMMARY 

The Wholesale Delivery Representative is an important member of the Wholesale and Sales Team within Odell Brewing Company. This role will deliver orders to Odell accounts throughout the assigned territory. Essential to the position are safe operation of our commercial fleet, excellent customer service, and strong teamwork mentality.

Work Week: Mon – Friday 

*Full time with availability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Beer delivery to accounts
• Stocking kegs in coolers
• Rotation of beer by date in accounts
• Stocking shelves, building and rotating displays
• Safe operation of large commercial trucks
• Comply with and remain knowledgeable on company policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe manner and in compliance with local, state and federal laws
• Maintaining and cleaning delivery vehicle
  1. Daily vehicle inspection reports
  2. Stocking of current POS 
• Sales support 
  1. Develop and maintain strong hometown relationships with account 
  2. Assist Pre-Sales Rep with securing placement of product 
  3. Adhere to account standards and goals
  4. Assist Pre-Sales Rep in securing ads and floor stacks
  5. Maximize optimum shelf position - shelf/cooler set management
  6. Delivering and placing POS
• Promotions/special events 
  1. Assist with promotions at on premise accounts
  2. Special event set up and work at brewery and other Larimer County venues as needed 
• Creates and cultivates an inclusive environment for all guests, co-workers, and the community

*This position requires flexibility and willingness to complete other duties, not listed above, as assigned

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED 

• Class A CDL preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license 
• Clean driving record – no DUI’s
• Beverage sales experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must work as a team player 
• Ability to keep accurate inventory of truck stock- from load to unload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility & willingness to work any day of the week
• Computer skills (Word; Excel, Route Accounting Software)
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
• Exceptional organizational skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• This position is very active with repetitive motion and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day 
• Must frequently lift and/or move items over 160 pounds

Pre-employment Requirements 

• Clean Driving Record / current MVR
• Must complete a pre-employment assessment to determine physical fitness and ability to perform the duties of the position

• CDL Medical Card
• Lifting Test
• Clean Driving Record 
• Negative pre-employment drug test

COMPENSATION  

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Odell’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Hourly Rate Range:

$21.00 - $23.00/hr depending on experience

Class A CDL starts at $25.00/hr
