Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the welding team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor the quality of welding work and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training and mentorship to welding staff to enhance skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications.
• Maintain inventory of welding supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of welding processes and equipment.
• Prepare reports on welding operations and present findings to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in welding technology or related field is a plus.
