Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity with growth opportunities, competitive pay, and benefits?! This is an opportunity to join the 2nd Shift as a Welding Specialist I at the Boulder location! 
 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  •  Produce code qualified welds, in the 1G or 2G positions using the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding 
    method manually and with automated equipment.
  • Perform visual weld inspection before, during, and after each welding operation. 
  • Know and follow safety procedures as required in a specific operation. Identify safety 
    concerns and takes appropriate action.
  • Cooperate and communicate well with co-workers, support staff, and others. Willingly share 
    skills and knowledge. Actively seek feedback to aid in the development of new skills. 
  • Recognize and participate in improvement activities through the use of established programs 
    such as; Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), Lean Manufacturing tools, and techniques to 
    facilitate improvement of quality metrics such as cycle time and first pass yield.
  • Maintain proper process documentation for all operations performed by recording heat lots, 
    welder ID, date, etc. on shop travelers.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance, safety, housekeeping, and general work habits.
  • Participate on New Product Introduction (NPI) Teams. Support prototype, alpha and pilot 
    builds. 
  • Ensure product and process quality is maintained/improved. Work with manufacturing 
    support to document and maintain accurate area PMAPS. Assist with process audits to 
    ensure quality system compliance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on, and ensures calibration of, equipment, tools, and 
    fixtures, as required.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, in accordance with 5s+1 principles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned per specific department or area.
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal communication skills. Works collaboratively with all members 
    of the Micro Motion team, both inter and intra departmentally. 
    Welding Specialist I
  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, push, pull, and reach regularly throughout the shift
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment correctly throughout entire shift
  • Requires repetitive motion of fingers, hands, arms and shoulders for reaching, handling, and 
    assembly of product
  • Warehouse:
  • Capable of safely and efficiently operating a powered industrial forklift and other powered 
    industrial trucks

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.  AAS degree in welding preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE: Prefer welding experience.

 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Certifications: Micro Motion’s WPS 4018 is preferred.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly pay range for this role is $25.12 - $37.52 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
