About the Role:

As a Welding Quality Inspector, the position is based out of Madera, CA, and will report to the local Quality Assurance Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our welding processes on the ecoAir production line. You will be responsible for inspecting welded parts and assemblies to ensure they meet our high standards for safety and quality. Your attention to detail and expertise in welding will be essential in identifying and addressing any issues. Ultimately, your work will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in the industry.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient in GMAW & GTAW welding.
Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing and Destructive Testing practices.
Certification in welding inspection (e.g. AWS CWI) or equivalent experience.
Experience in welding and fabrication
Knowledge of welding codes and standards (e.g. AWS, ASME)

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Welding Technology or related field
Experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Inspect welded parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
Identify and address any issues with welding processes
Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
Communicate any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner

Skills:

As a Welding Quality Inspector, you will use your expertise in welding and fabrication to ensure the safety and quality of our products. You will need to be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, as well as use a variety of inspection tools and equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to identify and address issues will be essential in maintaining our high standards. Additionally, you will need to communicate effectively with production teams and management to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Overall, your skills in welding, inspection, and communication will be critical to your success in this role.
