We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with one or more welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding, and be comfortable working with metal materials and fabrication equipment. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to produce quality welds according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Select the appropriate welding process, equipment, and materials for each job.
- Measure, fit, align, and position metal components prior to welding.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
- Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as needed.
- Maintain proper welding temperatures, settings, and techniques.
- Identify and correct welding defects or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment.
- Work independently as well as with a team to meet production and quality goals.
Qualifications
- Previous welding experience preferred.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and measurements.
- Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and metal fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
Preferred Skills
- Welding certification or technical training.
- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
- Experience with structural, production, fabrication, or repair welding.
- Ability to perform multiple welding processes.
Schedule: Full-Time
Experience: Entry-level to experienced welders may be considered depending on client requirements.
